我國南方春季多陰雨，濕度大，兔病多;北方春季多風沙，早晚溫差大，是飼養(yǎng)長毛兔的不利季節(jié)之一。飼養(yǎng)管理工作的是防濕、防病。

1.抓好飼料供應春季雖然野草已逐漸萌芽生長，但因含水量高，容易霉爛變質(zhì)。所以，要嚴格掌握飼料品質(zhì)，不喂霉爛變質(zhì)或夾帶泥沙、堆積發(fā)熱的青綠飼料。早春飼料青黃不接，為促發(fā)情，提高受胎率，應喂些富含維生素的飼料，如谷芽、麥芽、豆芽等。

2.搞好春繁配種無冬繁條件的兔場，春繁要及早開始，以保證繁殖兩胎。春繁季節(jié)，一般宜在2月中下旬開始配種，3月上旬配種結束。由于種公兔已長期不配，因此頭幾次精液中精子活力低，死亡、畸形精子多，影響受胎率和產(chǎn)仔數(shù)，好采用復配法。

3、防備倒春寒潮春季氣溫極不穩(wěn)定，尤其是3月份，時有寒風、雨雪，造成氣溫忽高忽低，容易誘發(fā)長毛兔的感冒和肺炎。特別是冬繁幼兔剛剛斷奶，抗病力弱，容易發(fā)病死亡，要精心管理。

4.搞好籠舍衛(wèi)生我國南方春季雨水多，濕度大，病原微生物活動猖獗，是多種傳染病的多發(fā)季節(jié)，尤其是球蟲病危害很大。所以一定要搞好籠舍的清潔衛(wèi)生工作，做到勤打掃，勤清理，勤洗刷，勤。
4. Maintain good hygiene in cage houses. 5.嚴防飼料中毒實踐證明，每年春季飼料中毒現(xiàn)象較多，主要是誤采誤食返青早的有毒野草，飼喂受潮發(fā)霉的飼料和出芽的馬鈴薯或患黑斑病的甘薯等。所以要嚴防飼料發(fā)霉變質(zhì)，防止誤采有毒的野草。
5.
