一抓：抓住長毛兔頸后的皮，可以通過手感判斷其年齡，一般皮薄而緊的為青年長毛兔，皮厚而硬的則多為中年長毛兔。

五擠：用拇指從長毛兔的直腸部位向肛門方向輕輕擠壓，如能擠出一顆顆的糞粒，證明消化系統(tǒng)正常；若擠出水狀，則說明消化系統(tǒng)有問題。
